Most people see me as a pessimist. I can see why they do but, I wonder if they really know me or if I just hide my optimism, because when things don't quite work out, I am crushed by what I didn't see, don't see or refuse to see coming. Most people that know me, think that I am on top of the world, and I am. Sometimes the world is sideways or upside down.
I know me, and I know that I am best suited to a job that is the same every day. A life that is without mountains and valleys. Yet, I work in an industry where every day it is a different challenge. I work in an industry where you are only as good as your last job. I live a life that is a complete contradiction to where I am comfortable. I live.
So, I deal with life in different ways. So good and some not so much.
I am a closet optimist. If you are my friend, you already know this.
